At VMNY Consulting, we believe student success begins with strong partnerships between schools, families, and communities. Parents and caregivers play an essential role in supporting their children's academic, social, and emotional development, and we provide workshops that help families build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to actively engage in their child's learning journey. Our workshops are designed to meet families where they are and provide meaningful strategies that can be applied at home and within the school community.

Our parent workshops focus on strengthening family engagement, increasing understanding of student needs, and helping families navigate the many factors that influence student success. Through interactive and accessible learning experiences, families gain practical tools to support learning at home, advocate for their children, and develop stronger connections with educators and school teams. Topics are tailored to the needs of each school community and may include digital citizenship, online safety, student advocacy, and strategies for supporting student growth.

VMNY Consulting offers both direct and indirect parent workshop support to help schools build meaningful and sustainable family engagement practices. Through direct support, we work with families through customized workshops delivered virtually or in person. Through indirect support, we partner with administrators, parent organizations, and family coordinators to build their capacity to plan, organize, and facilitate future workshops. By strengthening the partnership between schools and families, we help create supportive environments where every student has the opportunity to grow, achieve, and thrive.
